Placing Your Filling
In most cases, Dr. López will be able to place your filling in a single office visit. He’ll begin the procedure by applying a local anesthetic to numb your infected tooth, ensuring you won’t feel any pain. He’ll also remove any decayed tissue so your tooth is clean.
Once you’re ready, Dr. López will bond the composite resin to your tooth and shape it so it blends in naturally. Once your filling is in place, your tooth will look and function like it’s supposed to again. Just make sure to avoid eating or drinking until the numbness from the anesthesia has worn off.
